First step Importance
First Step Importance
To complete any task, the first step is required. Deciding the first step is difficult but very important.
" The first step to reaching somewhere is to promise yourself not to stay where you are, always keep moving".
Generic view - To understand better in a layman's language, a human has 2 legs and he/she walks the second step, it only follows the first step. In case your first step is going in the north direction your second step can't go in the opposite direction, and if you do that, you can't move. So, the second step always follows the first step.
To reach the destination, several steps are required but the first step is always important because if it is wrong, even your other steps are right, your chances to reach at the destination in time, will get reduced.
Practically, on few occasions, we don't have the option to step back so always move your first step very carefully (For example: deciding or choosing your better half for the rest of life)
Cricket Match - Toss is important in a cricket match, the loser of the toss maybe sometimes is in a better situation because the captain who losses the toss does not have the option to choose bowling or batting.
But if you are a captain who won the toss then deciding to bat or ball first is the first step. A single wrong decision can put your side in danger because a team has to be selected before the toss and not after the toss so you must have proper planning in your mind about what you will do if you win the toss.
Job VS Passion - Firstly, if your passion is your job then set everything of your own after getting some experience because initial salaries are less as compared to 5-6 years of experience. It is easy to sacrifice starting salary for passion and starting your own business/profession. Although it's not impossible but difficult in the mid of your career because of the money you are hatching and the responsibilities towards you. The first step is to take a decision to set-up your profession/business.
On the other hand, if your job is not your passion but doing it due to financial circumstances and want to step back to join your passion, try it ASAP if you can. It is not easy to quit a job if someone getting a handsome buck but trying it may be the first step for your happiness.
